DJ Jane DJane began as a promoter in the underground music scene in New York City in 2003. She was studying music at New York University when she stumbled upon a basement in Little Italy that was just surfacing (though its name cannot be disclosed), and throwing parties after midnight. After getting into the network and organizing events and getting to know the local bands and DJ's, she knew she shouldn't just be putting on shows, but should be part of them as well. Some good times were had in Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, and New Jersey over the next three years until she decided to return in 2006 to her hometown in Hawaii to surf and work at KTUH fm, while continuing her musical studies in songwriting, theater, and publishing.

Now you can hear her every Friday afternoon from 12-3pm on KTUH 90.3fm in Honolulu putting on The Love Show, which features local artists, rock n' roll, R&B, dance, and a few other genres. Her radio show is geared toward getting into a sexy groove and moving your body while being good to it at the same time. Some of her future plans are getting her Masters in Psychology, and going into the Love Talk radio show realm. But for now she's spinning all kinds of music all over the island, from Hippie Fests in Haleiwa, to Old School Rotary Club Parties in Ko'Olina, to Hip-Hop nights at Fresh Cafe, to 80's nights all the way downtown! DJane's musical tastes may vary, but her style never changes, and to put it in a few words would probably be just, "Turn it up and dance!"
